Disabled Sailing Association of British Columbia

Victoria Branch

The Disabled Sailing Association of British Columbia, Victoria Branch (DSA) is a partner program of Recreation Integration Victoria (RIV). Since 1992, DSA Victoria has facilitated sailing opportunities for adults and children with disabilities. DSA Victoria is largely run by volunteers, who play a key role in the operations of the program.

The program is graciously hosted by the Canadian Forces Sailing Association (CFSA) in Esquimalt Harbour and we are grateful for all of their support over the years. Our program offers recreational sailing opportunities for those looking to experience the joy of sailing, as well as instructional Learn to Sail programming following Sail Canada’s Para CANSail guidelines. We are dedicated to providing as many opportunities to engage in the local sailing community and work towards the independent sailing status or to sail competitively.
